Local cooks will feed our love of cheese by demonstrating their favorite recipes this weekend on KCTS, Channel 9. The four-hour special will run live from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and then be rebroadcast from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Lynnwood cook Frank Suszka will be among the 12 scheduled cooks demonstrating their recipes. Suszka will prepare baked mostaccioli. Other cheesy specialities include pumpkin and blue cheese lasagna, Southwest pepperjack scones, and crab and camembert quiche. A companion cookbook, "Cooks With Cheese," has all the recipes from the special as well as more than 400 recipes sent in by local cooks. The cookbook will be offered as a premium during the program for a $65 pledge. Call 800-937-5287 for more information.
