Most memorable part was playing Juliet in the comedy "Romeo, You Idiot." Dream role is Annie in "Annie," partly because she likes Annie's spunk, and partly because they're both redheads Changing identity: "I just like to take a break from being myself and play different roles." Full schedule: Is president of the DHS Science Club, plays volleyball, is in the National Honor Society and is secretary of the Associated Student Body. Smart player: Competes on Darrington's Hi-Q academic bowl team. Specializes in geography, literature and Shakespeare. Staying sane: "It's pretty hard. I just try to do one thing at a time and keep my stress down. Every (free) minute I have, I do homework." Volley: Plays volleyball for the Loggers and for a club team in Mount Vernon. Drives to Mount Vernon twice a week to play. Study time: Is taking three Advanced Placement classes: literature, calculus and chemistry. Next year: Plans to attend Spokane Falls Community College and then transfer to Central Washington University. Wants to major in English. "I want to get away. ... I've been in Darrington all my life. I think it will be interesting to go to a huge town and meet lots of people." Poem passion: Writes poetry and competes at poetry slams in Seattle. Next chapter: Wants to be a novelist and poet and possibly teach high school. Favorite author: Ernest Hemingway. Thinks "A Farewell to Arms" is his best book. Little sis: Is the youngest of three kids. "It's hard sometimes. I used to get picked on." Furry friend: Has a yellow lab puppy named Tucker.
