Recycle electronics in Mill Creek
Anyone may recycle electronics Saturday in Mill Creek for a small fee.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall, 15728 Main St. in Mill Creek.
Fees vary. For instance, a TV up to 34 inches is $20. Small copiers and monitors are $10. A VCR is $5. The only household appliances you may bring for recycling are refrigerators, for $25 each.
Hard drives will be shredded by Total Reclaim Inc.
Free recycling is offered for cell phones, keyboards, mice and telephones.
Dinner, concert to help World Concern
The Interact Club at Everett High School plans a fundraising dinner for 5 p.m. Tuesday. Enjoy an evening of jazz by the Everett High School jazz choir and hear a speaker from World Concern.
The cost is $15 per person. The club is working to raise money to help stop human trafficking. Proceeds from the event go to World Concern.

History lives in Granite Falls
Granite Falls Middle School turns into a living museum with its fifth annual Night of the Notables at 6:30 tonight at the school, 205 N. Alder Ave.
Eighth-grade students will transform themselves into figures from early American history through the Civil War.
