Private Enterprise Coalition endorses Rossi for governor

The executive committee of the Private Enterprise Coalition (PEC) in Snohomish County issued an endorsement Wednesday of Republican Dino Rossi in the governor's race. "Dino is one of us ... a solid businessman, an experienced legislator with a good record on business issues ... the guy who wrote the budget a few years ago that pulled the state out of a $2 billion hole," said committee member Tom Hoban. Committee member Steve Neighbors said Gov. Christine Gregoire "promised not to raise taxes and the first thing she did was raise them ... Dino Rossi ... has the experience and ... a record of balancing the budget."
