Obama adds Pelz as superdelegate supporter

Posted at 10:35 am by Jerry Cornfield

State Democratic Party Chairman Dwight Pelz is no longer among the undecided in the race for president.

He is now a superdelegate for Sen. Barack Obama.

Pelz shared his decision in a letter sent to Democrats Sunday.

He is the seventh superdelegate to back Obama while Clinton enjoys support of five and there are five people still undecided, according to the AP.

Here's a rundown along with last week's announcement by U.S. Rep. Jim McDermott to back Obama.
