Diver missing at Deception State Pass Park
WHIDBEY ISLAND - Coast Guard rescue teams are searching for a woman who went missing while diving near Whidbey Island today.
The woman didn’t re-surface after diving off Rosario Beach at Deception Pass State Park, according to the Coast Guard. Skagit County Fire and Rescue was called to the scene at about 2 p.m.
Three rescue boats and a two helicopters, one of which is from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, are looking for the woman.
