Officials are trying to determine how the woman, described in her 30s, wound up in the road and was hit, said Marybeth O’Leary, a Lynnwood fire spokeswoman. The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries. Lynnwood police are investigating.
