UW hoops gets first commit for 2009

Word out of Utah today is that the Huskies received a verbal commitment from 6-foot-5 guard C.J. Willcox of Pleasant Grove, Utah. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Wilcox narrowed his choices down to Utah and Washington before picking the Huskies.

Wilcox, who averaged 23.7 points per game as a junior and was an all-state selection, also had offers from BYU, Iowa State, Utah State and San Diego.
