Rossi surpasses $5 million mark

Posted at 4:16 pm by Jerry Cornfield

The prolific pace of fund raising continues for Republican Dino Rossi in his race for governor.

He raised $701,112 in May and by the end of the month had amassed $5,147,496, according to his campaign..

Subtract expenses and he had $3,439,372 in cash on hand June 1.

There's more.

We've reached the point in the campaign where candidates must file statements of how much they've raised every week. These go to the Public Disclosure Commission.

Rossi's reports show he brought in $201,679 between June 1 and June 8.

Stay tuned for updates from Democratic Gov. Chris Gregoire's campaign.
