The training, by Dispute Resolution Center of Snohomish and Island Counties, helps folks from all backgrounds learn to resolve conflict effectively. Exchange a flag for a new model Pemco Insurance celebrates Flag Day on Saturday with a flag exchange. While supplies last, take a used flag to McClain Insurance Services, 10410 19th Ave. SE, Suite 101, Everett, and receive a new flag. Pemco will work with the American Legion to properly dispose of the worn flags. The offer is good through Thursday. Dads get free plane tours on Sunday The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing tour offers free admission Sunday, Father's Day, with a child's paid admission. Children must be 4 feet tall to take the Boeing Tour. The tour Sunday will be on a first-come, first-served basis. As an added bonus Sunday, kids and dads can fly the XJ5 flight simulator together -- two for the price of one. Dads get in free; limit one dad per family. Help celebrate loop highway reopening Volunteers and donations are needed for the Mountain Loop Highway Experience celebration, organizers said. The event is June 28 and 29 in Granite Falls, Darrington and Arlington. It celebrates the opening of the Mountain Loop Highway in eastern Snohomish County and features street fairs, music, salmon bakes, barbecues, sporting events and fireworks. A volunteer meeting is 6:30 tonight at the Whistle Stop, 109 S. Granite Ave., Granite Falls. Donations, earmarked for Darrington, Arlington or Granite Falls, can be sent to the Granite Falls Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 28, Granite Falls, WA 98252.
