Lucas is being challenged by former Superior Court Judge David Hulbert. Lucas defeated Hulbert in 2004. According to Lucas, the following judges signed a written endorsement for him on Friday: Gerald Knight, James Allendoerfer, Ronald Castleberry, Larry McKeeman, Thomas Wynne, Anita Farris, George Bowden, Linda Krese, Ellen Fair, Kenneth Cowsert, Michael Downes, David Kurtz and Bruce Weiss.
