Klobuchar not Kerry at convention

Update from the state Democratic Party Convention:

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota is pinch-speaking for Sen. John Kerry. He stayed in Massachusetts to attend a funeral service for a soldier killed in Iraq, Klobuchar told the crowd.

Who is she? She was elected in 2006.
