Construction worker killed at site of new Mukilteo City Hall

A 33-year-old carpenter died today in an industrial accident at the construction site of the new Mukilteo City Hall.

The accident occurred about 10:55 a.m. in the 11930 block of Cyrus Way as workers pumped concrete into the building’s second floor, Mukilteo police officer Cheol Kang said in a released statement.

The carpenter died on the scene.

Information about the man has not yet been released by police.

Mukilteo police are investigating the incident.
