Political FYI: George Appel to talk about run for judge

Snohomish County deputy prosecutor George Appel plans to be available Tuesday to talk with public about his bid for Snohomish County Superior Court judge.

The meet-and-greet is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Shawn O'Donnell's restaurant, 122 128th St. SE, Everett. Guest speakers will include State Attorney General Rob McKenna and Snohomish County Prosecutor Janice Ellis.

Appel is one of three Snohomish County candidates seeking the four-year seat now held by Judge Richard Thorpe.
