Free fun on the Fourth

Looking for some daytime fun this Fourth of July? Check out Imagine Children's Museum.

The museum will be open with free admission from noon to 4 p.m., with a performance by Muskrat Rabble, a Dixieland style brass band, between 1 and 2 p.m.

Offering free admission on the Fourth of July is a great way to give back to the community, said executive director Nancy Johnson.

"There are many families in the community who are struggling due to the increased price of gasoline, current economic downturn and general high price of living in the Pacific Northwest. This is a great opportunity for families to have some fun on the Fourth of July," she said.

Imagine Children's Museum is at 1502 Wall St., Everett; 425-258-1006, www.ImagineCM.org.
