That's up 22 cents in the past month and $1.25 in the past year. It's 25 cents higher than the national average. The AAA survey for Monday found the average price of a gallon in diesel in Washington at $4.87. That's down six cents in the past month but $1.86 higher than a year ago. The survey found that gasoline prices are highest in Bellingham at $4.46 and lowest in Spokane at $4.06.
