Price cut looms for Xbox 360

Posted at 5:41 pm by Eric Fetters

How can Microsoft's Xbox 360 simultaneously move closer in price to the cheaper and uber-popular Nintendo Wii AND also stiffen its competition with Sony's Playstation 3?

By cutting the price of the base Xbox model and introducing a top-end model with more gigabytes. Which seems to be what's about to happen, if all the rumors are to be believed.

While you're pondering all the rumors, let's not forget that the Xbox 360 still has the reputation for being prone to die prematurely. One outraged gamer put his frustration to the tune of a catchy German pop song from the 1980s. Enjoy ... or not (Warning: There's a naughty word or two in the song).

And in the name of equal time, here's another song (this to the tune of that annoying catchy pop song from "Grey's Anatomy") trashing the PS3.
