Arlington: Frontier Days in Haller Park, 1100 West Ave.: 7 to 11 a.m. pancake breakfast; 8 to 9 a.m. registration, 10:30 a.m. start for Pedal, Paddle, Puff Triathalon; 11 a.m. start for Kiwanis auction; Also, 5 p.m. grand parade along French Avenue; 7:30 p.m. Stilly Duck Dash; fireworks display, Quake Park, 18501 59th Ave., seating available on Boys & Girls Club lawn, 18513 59th Ave. NE, Arlington; 360-403-3421, www.ci.arlington.wa.us. Bothell: Freedom Festival: Patriot dance, 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, the Park at Bothell Landing. Festival continues Friday: main parade at noon, down Main Street and north on Bothell-Everett Highway; re-enactment of the Battle of Concord, 2 p.m. at the Park at Bothell Landing, 9919 NE 180th Street; Children's parade, 11:15 a.m., 104th Avenue and Main Street, participants (up to age 12) bring own decorated wagons, strollers or bicycles and parents accompany children or arrange to meet at end. Darrington: Hometown parade begins at noon, with lineup at 11 a.m. at the Community Center. Route is down Darrington Street and over to Mountain Loop Highway. Finishes at Old School Park, where hot dogs, pop, old-fashioned ice cream will be served. There will also be a square dance performance. Fireworks display at dusk at high school football field. Edmonds: An Edmonds Kind of Fourth, Children's parade 11:30 a.m., Fifth Avenue and Howell Way; grand parade at noon, starting at Seventh Avenue between Glen and Daley. 2 p.m. activities at City Park, 7:30 p.m. live entertainment, approximately 10 p.m. fireworks at Edmonds Civic Stadium; 425-776-6711, www.edmondswa.com. Everett: Fire and Ice: Comcast Community Ice Rink, 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. $5 ages 6 and older, $3.50 ages 5 and under, includes skate rental, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett, 425-322-2600, www.comcastarena.com. Yankee Doodle Dash: Registration 7:30 a.m., race begins at 8:30 a.m., $10 to $25 members, $13 to $35 nonmembers, Everett Family YMCA, 2720 Rockefeller Ave., www. ymca-snoco.org.
