Here are some music interviews and articles that caught my eye this past week. Enjoy reading them at your leisure as you eat bratwurst, or perhaps grilled salmon, this July 4 weekend.

Rapping is a craft, and Nas was the first person to do it right, New York magazine says in this profile of the rapper. Nas also knows how to smoke weed, it seems.
