The Washington State Unified Crime Report for 2007 showed that the county crime rate mirrored statewide figures.
Overall crime in most Snohomish County communities fell, while reported crime in Lake Stevens and Marysville showed a rise in 2007 from 2006, the report said. Violent crime reports increased slightly countywide.
On Island County, overall crime was down while reports of violent crime also showed a rise.
