Motorcyclist hospitalized after Lynnwood crash
Herald Staff
LYNNWOOD – A motorcyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious internal injuries this afternoon after a crash in Lynnwood.
The accident occurred just before 1 p.m. near the intersection of 172nd Place SW and 52nd Avenue W, Lynnwood Fire spokeswoman Marybeth O’Leary said.
Police are investigating what caused the motorcycle to crash with another vehicle, she said.
The motorcyclist, a man believed to be around 45, appeared to have several broken bones, O’Leary said.
