For gardeners, it’s a good thing the summer days are long. How else could we fit it all in? Not only are the gardens demanding at this time of year, gardening classes and events are everywhere. Here’s just a few things that are coming up that you might enjoy. If you know of a gardening event that I should add, please either comment here, or e-mail me. I’ll add more events soon.
Snohomish County demo gardens. These can be enjoyed pretty much any time.
Snohomish County Master Gardener Tours. July 19, July 26, Aug. 9.
Woodinville Garden Club tour. July 19.
Snohomish Garden Club tour. July 27. Tickets are cheaper if you buy them early.
Heronswood Garden in Kingston will be open to the public. Also, the garden is for sale -- if you have $3 million. Additional nearby gardens will also be open that same day.
Blues for Food 2008 to benefit P-Patch. Includes music, food and compost demonstrations. What’s not to love?
Also, you can always check our gardening calendar, either in the paper or online. The online calendar is available here. (Click the link, then scroll down to see calendar.)
