Your chance to catch Tayler Malsam in action

Posted at 9:45 am by Scott Whitmore

Friday, July 18 is your chance to watch ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Tayler Malsam in action, live on SPEED channel.

The 19-year-old Malsam, originally from Sammamish, Wash., but now living in Mill Creek, Wash., will be competing in the ARCA RE/MAX Kentucky 150 from Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky.

Qualifying will be broadcast at 1:30 p.m. with the race televised live at 5 p.m. and replayed on tape at 10:30 p.m. -- all on SPEED channel.

Malsam began racing sprint cars with Rudeen Racing from Monroe, Wash., just three years ago. He was signed to a driver development contract late last year by Cunningham Motorsports.

Cunningham is based in Statham, Ga., and has two cars in the ARCA RE/MAX series: Malsam's No. 4 and the No. 45 driven by Michael Phelps.
