George Wyrsch, who has dementia, was found by a Washington State Patrol trooper on U.S. 2 near Wenatchee early today. He was taken to a Wenatchee-area hospital for precautionary reasons before he was picked up by his family, Stanwood Police Chief David Bales said. Wyrsch had last been seen in his car at a gas station in east Stanwood on Friday.
