Active Duty

Air Force Reserve Airman Aileen C. Escalicas has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Adonis and Leonida Escalicas of Everett.

Army Pvt. Brian E. Russell has graduated from the H-8 Tracked Vehicle Recovery Specialist Course at Fort Knox, Ky. Russell is the son of Evelyn E. Russell of Everett. The private is a 2005 graduate of Meadowdale High School.

Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Jon D. Henderson, a 1991 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, recently reported for duty with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron One, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Okinawa, Japan. Henderson joined the Marine Corps in January 1994.

Air Force Airman Rachael A. Vidoni has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Patrice Vidoni of Oshkosh, Wis., and Joe Vidoni of Oak Harbor.

Aaron C. Bunn recently graduated from the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Knoxville, Tenn., and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air National Guard. Bunn, a C-130 aircraft pilot, is assigned to the 144th Airlift Squadron, Kulis Air National Guard Base, Anchorage, Alaska. He has served in the military for seven years. He is the son of Cora Carleson of Wasilla, Alaska, and Keith Bunn of Marysville. Lt. Bunn earned a bachelor's degree in 2005 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Anchorage.

Navy Seaman Cody A. McKervey, son of Rene and Michael McKervey of Everett, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. McKervey is a 2007 graduate of Bishop High School in Texas.
