NHRA Countdown newsletter

Heading into this weekend’s FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals in Sonoma, the race for the NHRA playoffs in each of the four POWERade Series categories is coming into focus.

And the latest edition of the Countdown newsletter (click on link under "Additional items" below) helps illustrate this point with a gray-framed box in the standings that identifies the drivers who are on the hot seat, those with a chance to bump their way into the Top 10 or who are most at risk of losing their playoff position.

Meanwhile, at the top of the pecking order, Tony Schumacher has a very good shot at clinching the No. 1 seed in Top Fuel (and the 20-point bonus that accompanies it) this weekend.
