Green Drinks!

Posted at 11:13 am

Are you interested in getting involved in the local "green" community, but aren't sure where to start?

Try "Green Drinks," the eco-friendly version of the old-school mixer.

At www.greendrinks.org, hook up with like-minded eco geeks around the world and in your own backyard for regular meetings at local bars and restaurants.

The Sustainable Development Task Force of Snohomish County hosts the Everett Green Drinks at The Anchor Tavern on Hewitt Avenue in Everett. Check the site for dates and times.

And if you’re traveling and want to check out the green movement in other parts of the country or the world, explore! Headed to Mexico City? The next Green Drinks there is set for August 20. In Bangkok, pencil it in for August 21.
