Feral cat clinic moves to Lynnwood

Feral Cat Spay/ Neuter Project has moved from Seattle to 4001 198th St. SW, Suite 3, Lynnwood.

Executive director Julie White said the nonprofit agency offers free spay and neuter surgery for free-roaming cats and low-cost spay and neuter surgeries by donation for tame cats.

Saturday is "Golf FORE the Animals" at Echo Falls Golf Club in Snohomish. Proceeds benefit the project. Call 253-859-2801 or go to www.feralcatproject.org.

Free movie and popcorn Thursday

Arlington's parks and recreation department plans to offer free movies the next two Thursday evenings in Terrace Park.

The children's classic "Where the Red Fern Grows" is Thursday and "Grease," with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, is July 31 at the park's amphitheater, 809 E. Fifth St., Arlington. Free popcorn is to be provided by the Arlington Kiwanis Club.

Correction

The Edmonds School District has entered into a long-term lease with Texas developer Cypress Equities for the property at the current Lynnwood High School. A story on Page B1 Monday incorrectly described the nature of the transaction.
