Two counterfeiters captured

The following are selected reports from the Edmonds police department's police blotter:

July 21
Theft. 23600 block of Highway 99. Shoplifting. Juvenile suspect was intoxicated.

Burglary. 8900 block of 244th St. SW. Suspect stole DVDs from locked backyard storage shed.

July 18
Forgery. 23600 block of Highway 99. Two males were fraudulently using counterfeit bills to buy merchandise. One of the males was arrested and booked at Snohomish County Jail for forgery.

July 17
Burglary. 21000 block of 74th Ave. W. Delayed residential burglary report. Stolen firearm recovered. Other property still outstanding. Suspect info available.

July 15
Court order violation. 9000 block of 236th St. SW. Male called 911 to report a court order violation in progress. Female respondent arrested and booked.

Burglary. 200 block of Highland Dr. Suspect entered residence without permission and violated a protection order in the process. Suspect also placed victim in fear over long history of stalking.

Liquor. 600 block of Admiral Way. Suspicious complaint at Marina Beach Dog Park results in arrest of male for Minor In Possession and obstructing.

July 14
Assault. 21600 block of 76th Ave. W. Patient struck nurse and security guard during treatment. Charges declined.

Malicious mischief. 800 block of 15th St. SW. Grave headstone damaged by unknown person(s).

Trespass. 16100 block of 76th Pl. W. Two subjects were seen on railroad tracks. Adult cited and released. Juvenile referred to juvenile prosecutor.
