Larch Mountain defeated Salmon Creek LL of Vancouver 8-3 in the first game, then Richmond LL of Shoreline beat Greater Richland in seven innings, 14-5, in a pair of loser-out games. Zack Chamberlain struck out 12 and hit a three-run inside-the-park home run to lead Larch Mountain in the afternoon game. In the evening game, Richmond posted a nine-run seventh inning, including four home runs. Larch Mountain faces Richmond at 6 p.m. today in another loser-out game. The winner of that game plays Bainbridge Island at 11 a.m. Saturday.
