Can Can night spot cruises
Can Can cruising: Contortionists, burlesque dancers, bar tenders and a boat all play a part in Can Can's series of nighttime cruises.
Can Can, the popular Seattle night spot, intends to launch its Yacht Club show on both Lake Union and Lake Washington with a performance on Thursday. Passengers can enjoy nautically themed performances that sometimes mix pirate motifs in with the club's blend of Moulin Rouge-style dancing and classic Las Vegas burlesque.
The 21-and-over shows take place on the Islander, a 72-foot vessel that holds 237 passengers. A cash bar serves hard liquor and microbrews, although drinks are not included in the ticket price.
Tickets for the three-hour cruise are $40, or $99 for all three shows, and include appetizers and entertainment. The first show sets sail at 8 p.m. Thursday, followed by shows on Aug. 28 and Sept. 25.
