The Breast Fest

Don't forget the kids: Today at Everett's Forest Park, it's a Breastfeeding Celebration and Family Fun Day -- call it a Breast Fest, for short.

Organizers hope to set a record for simultaneous breastfeeding during a "nurse-in." Dads who tag along can also try to set a record for most guys standing there uncomfortably, staring at their shoes.

Take a trip back in time as Everett historian David Dilgard tells the story of Capt. George Vancouver's historic 1792 landing at Tulalip Bay.

The landing was followed by the British captain's historic trip to the Tulalip Casino, his historic walk of shame, and his historic night of long explanations to Mrs. Vancouver.

Something had to go: A trucker spilled 98,000 pounds of dirt on U.S. 2 in his haste to pull over and relieve himself. Police gave the prancing driver a long, slow lecture before finally letting him take care of business.

Traffic was snarled for hours as crews cleaned up the giant mess. From the truck. The mess from the truck.
