The men were pulling up a trap just before 11 a.m. when the line apparently tangled in the boat's propeller, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said. The 16-foot pleasure boat took on water and flipped, he said. A person on the beach flagged down a passing boat who diverted and pulled the men to safety. One man was wearing a life jacket, the other two needed to swim to stay afloat, Goetz said. The men apparently were in the water for about 30 minutes. All three men were treated at the dock for mild to moderate hypothermia, he said. The incident is a good reminder for all people to wear life jackets while boating, Goetz said. Fire in home is contained to one wall Snohomish County Fire District 1 crews responded Thursday to the report of a fire in a wall of a home in the 12700 block of 29th Place W., south of Everett. Residents of the home reported they first smelled and then saw smoke, said fire district spokeswoman Leslie Hynes. Firefighters were able to locate and contain the fire, Hynes said. No injuries were reported and no one was displaced, she said. The Snohomish County fire marshal is investigating the fire. Marysville: Two teens attack for a dollar They demanded $1 and now are in jail. Police believe two men, 18 and 19, stopped a Marysville man, who was walking about 12:15 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Fourth Street and State Avenue, Marysville police Cmdr. Ralph Krusey said. The teenagers -- one from Marysville, the other from Tulalip -- asked the 20-year-old man for $1, Krusey said. When the man refused and started to walk away, the other men attacked him and a fight followed. They took the man's skateboard and ran off but were quickly arrested by Marysville police, Krusey said. The victim was left with a bloody nose and cuts to his lip and forehead. Police returned his skateboard to him. The two men were booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree robbery. Police believe they had been drinking. Suspected bank robber spotted and arrested Marysville police on Thursday arrested a Tacoma bank robbery suspect who was wanted by the FBI, U.S. Marshals and Tacoma police. Patrol officers were told Thursday morning that Stefano Andolini might be in the Marysville area, Marysville police Cmdr. Ralph Krusey said. About 2 p.m., officers spotted a car associated with Andolini on Fourth Street near I-5, Krusey said. Three people in the car, including Andolini, were arrested without incident, he said. Wil Kilcup, 23, of Seattle, watched the arrest from a Chevron station across the street. He said close to 10 police officers with guns drawn ordered the people in the car to the ground. "I've never seen that in real life before," Kilcup said. Andolini, 45, was expected to be jailed along with a Toledo woman, 23, for outstanding warrants, Krusey said. The driver of the suspect vehicle, a homeless woman, 56, was released. According to the Tacoma News Tribune, Andolini, who also goes by the name Jerald Helsel, was wanted for investigation of first-degree robbery in a July 17 hold-up. He has an extensive criminal background and was considered armed and dangerous. "This is an excellent example of law enforcement working together to make our communities safer," Krusey said. "Sharing information helped take this violent predator off the streets." Lake Roesiger: Slow brush fire extinguished Fire District 16 firefighters fought a brush fire Thursday afternoon on Department of Natural Resources land just off Woods Creek Road near Lake Cochran. A nearby homeowner attempted to put out the fire with a garden house, Lake Roesiger Fire Chief Brian Anderson said. His crew attacked the slow-­moving fire on the logged-off land, stopped it and then turned it over to Natural Resources crews, Anderson said. The Department of Natural Resources is investigating the fire. The department reports there is a moderate fire danger in Snohomish County and outdoor burning is banned. From Herald news reports
