Downed power lines create havoc near Snohomish

SNOHOMISH -- Several power lines were down today in the area of 67th Avenue and 76th Street, west of Snohomish. Electricity from the downed lines energized a nearby fence and may be connected to a trailer fire and a car accident, said Deputy Chief Ron Simmons of Snohomish County Fire District 4.

Crews from Snohomish County PUD were working to fix the power lines, Simmons said. It’s not clear how much damage was caused in the incident.
