The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office determined that the 23-year-old man died of a positional asphyxia, a condition that occurs when the position of a person's body prevents him or her from breathing. Strait died at the scene after the car he was driving lost control and rolled on its top, Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. The vehicle was going east on 164th Street SW near Seventh Place W. A passenger, a 22-year-old Poulsbo man, was hospitalized, Hover said.
