Boeing sweetens offer to Machinists, retiree medical benefits safe

Posted at 10:54 am

Boeing has delivered its final offer to its Machinists union for a new three-year contract. But the company hasn’t revealed yet what’s in that offer.

The union said it’s reviewing the contract line by line and will make a statement later today.

Within the next hour or two, Boeing should post it on the Negotiations Web site.

Look for a union response at the Machinists Contract Web site.

The company made its first full offer to the union last Friday and its second offer Tuesday.

Yesterday, Boeing Machinists in Everett staged a rally in a show of solidarity.

UPDATE: Here's our story.

UPDATE at 4:25 p.m.

Here's a video about Boeing's final offer from its Web site.

Boeing offer?
1. to many take aways, meaning Boeing dumps the cost on us and gives us a modest raise ( that all goes to pay for the take aways.)
2. In the Medical, No brand name drugs ( what if there are no Generic drugs? Dose not mater we pay the full price. Sweet for Boeing) If the generic drug causes problems ( remember the Generic drugs are not exactly the same as the brand names ) tuff we pay the difference. ( I love it when Lawyers play Doctor Oh and did I mention that the Doctors have NO say in it.).
3. Beside some of our Futility's personal qualifying for food stamps ( world class got to love Boeing) they are left behind again.
4. the factory personal with only 2 to 3 yrs will be making the same pay or less then the now hires ( not that is fair isn't it.
5. and lots more

So what is going to happen? It will be very quit at Boeing in Sept and on.
That is what they get for trying to go cheep on the workers wile the Brass rakes it the in.
