Rossi reaching out for Obama crowd

Posted at 10:30 am by Jerry Cornfield

There will be a big television audience for tonight’s speech by Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention.

Dino Rossi is looking to get himself in front of those viewers. He’s bought time on network and cable television stations to run an ad before and after the speech.

“This ad is targeted towards people of all political backgrounds who believe it is time for change in Washington state,” said Jill Strait, Rossi’s spokesperson.

If you can’t wait, the will be available for viewing on the Republican gubernatorial candidate's campaign Web site at 4 p.m.
