Oso Fire Department has annual salmon bake

The Oso Fire Department holds its annual salmon bake and auction at 4 p.m. Saturday at 21824 Highway 530, Oso. The rural department serves the Arlington Heights and Darrington communities. The cost for dinner is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $9 for children. Proceeds from the event are slated to go toward equipment maintenance and purchases. Welsh Corgi Club presents day at park

The Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club invites the public to its third annual Fun Day for Corgis from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at McCollum Pioneer Park, 600 128th St. SE, Everett. The Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross offers a Safe and Well Web site where people affected by a disaster in the U.S., such as Hurricane Gustav, can post a confidential message to let loved ones know their status. Raffle ticket sales will benefit disabled adults

Quilceda Community Service, a nonprofit group supporting developmentally disabled adults, presents a raffle with a drawing Tuesday. Prizes include a two-night stay in an Orca Suite at the new Tulalip Resort Casino, a breakfast for two in the New Cedars Restaurant, a spa treatment for two and a $100 gift certificate to Seattle Premium Outlet Mall. Tickets are $1 each or $10 for a book of 12. Proceeds are slated to support Willow Place, an activity center in Marysville for developmentally disabled adults.
