EVERETT – A man died after a rollover crash on I-5 early this morning.
No one else was hurt.
Around 2:30 a.m., the man’s SUV apparently clipped a semi-truck owned by FedEx while changing lanes headed south bound near the Silver Lake rest area, Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said.
The 1994 Isuzu Rodeo went off the road to the right, rolled and the driver was thrown, Leary said.
The identity of the man who died has not been released pending family notification, he said.
Several lanes of I-5 south were closed early this morning as police collected evidence.
This is the third fatal crash in I-5 in Snohomish County this year, Leary said.
