Big Game Hunter

Artist unknown (click to enlarge)
Chuck Norris is Master Chief? We knew it all along. Bungie has been teasing a brand new game the last few weeks. None of which has anything to do what so ever with Chuck Norris other than A) this picture is cool and B) explains how Master Chief is able to do what he does so well: mayhem.

Halo 3 downloadable content on the way?

Plus STALKER: Clear Sky impressions and Hitler get’s banned from WoW

Twitch kiddies will be happy to know that their favorite alien-slaughtering cyborg commando is back.

Maybe.

Kinda.

Well… no one really knows. Yet.

What is known is that Bungie Studios in Kirkland has been cooking up some mischief on their website with their typically cryptic teasers.

Finally, we have a teaser trailer.

Bungie teaser: “Keep It Clean”

New Halo game, DLC, or completely different game entirely?

For the uninitiated, this a fairly basic teaser trailer that one might expect from the Bungie crew.

To the Cult of Halo, this has more “Easter Eggs” in it than a Cadbury plant. I watched the first video trying to pick out all the Halo lore from what I was watching but thankfully someone with less of a life than myself created a video addressing all the Easter Eggs in a comprehensive manner.

Curious? Me too. But is it new Halo downloadable content or just wishful thinking? You decide.

“Keep It Clean” trailer with Easter Eggs explained

STALKER: Clear Sky first impressions

Speaking of FPS action, I d-loaded STALKER: Clear Sky via Steam last week and I’m having a blast. It’s a continuation of the atmospheric shooter-survival horror-Russian goulash that its predecessor was and more.

Unfortunately, it has a bug problem.

I wish this was something the Orkin Man could fix with his magic wand but the game has way, way, way, way, way too many glitches so I think I’ll hold off on playing it for a month and wait for a patch.

Immersion is key and once again this game brings it with a level of terror, anger, paranoia, and tension that I haven’t felt since the Thief series. Yes, it’s that good.

The new faction system is fun, allowing the player to choose which camp to fall into, allowing more access to advanced weaponry and equipment. Anyway, the new faction system is great but you have to actually play the game to enjoy it and right now since it has more bugs than a youth hostel cot in Sweden I’m going to give it a little while to develop.

"Downfall" viral videos finally latch onto World of Warcraft

In other news, Hitler has been banned from World of Warcraft.

For those of you who have never A) seen the 2004 Hitler biopic “Downfall” or B) haven’t seen the scads of spoofs created from the following footage, it’s heavy on the lullz.

Videos range from Hitler looking for people to go with him to Burning Man, Hitler having Microsoft Vista issues, Hitler getting Rick Rolled, to Hitler getting kicked off of Xbox LIVE for modding his console.

Now, he’s getting banned from World of Warcraft for botting with his level 70 Blood Elf hunter.

I just want to say, for the record, that somehow I knew Hitler would roll a Belf Hunter.

Warning, subtitles contain graphic language.
