Fallout links for Week 5

Posted at 5:20 pm

Interesting week in fantasy, so let's get to the news around the league:

First off, Bernard Berrian is active tonight (http://tinyurl.com/4xmmjm) I still like him to have a good game, so start him with confidence.

Deion Branch is back ... oh wait (http://tinyurl.com/4tc5x7)

The Rams had the weekend off ... and still lost a player (http://tinyurl.com/4nj8y2) Now that's bad.

Philly is starting panic (http://tinyurl.com/4n8l3u) and this (http://tinyurl.com/44yxgx) can't help. Updates on Brian Westbrook later in the week I'm sure.

Meanwhile in D.C., the Redskins are feeling good about things (http://tinyurl.com/3hpuqk) Already talking playoffs? Playoffs? Crazy stuff.

Plaxico Burress returns and doesn't seem to be very remorseful (http://tinyurl.com/42qthb). Uh ... did he see what the Giants did without him?

If you have a running back going against the Chiefs (http://tinyurl.com/3qobvq), play them ALWAYS. Fire up Titans running back Chris Johnson after the Chiefs' bye week this week.

Under the radar, but Broncos kicker Matt Prater has been quietly very good this season (http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_10651372). More reason to wait on kickers until the final round of your draft

It's a crucial time for the Chargers, says LaDainian Tomlinson (http://tinyurl.com/3rt4bf). Your owners are saying the same thing about you L.T.

Uh-oh, quarterback controversy in Tampa Bay (http://tinyurl.com/4wdme4). Oh yeah who cares?

The calls begin for another firing in Detroit (http://tinyurl.com/4lsr36).

Two teams, Miami (http://tinyurl.com/49ohjg) and Atlanta (http://tinyurl.com/4xmf2e), turning things around because of good coaching. What a novel approach. Hire a new, disciplined coach and make smart personnel decisions. To me it wasn't a fluke that Miami beat the Norv Turner-led Chargers.

Check out the Jets upcomong schedule (http://tinyurl.com/4gl3nm) ... pretty nice, huh? Needless to say, play your Jets in the coming weeks.
