Good morning, Eco Geek readers!
I, Sarah Jackson, your faithful founding Eco Geek, have finally returned from my 4½-month maternity leave.
Yes, I lived!
After a long and glorious labor and delivery, many sleepless nights and a crash course in round-the-clock diapering, soothing, breastfeeding and worrying, I have emerged a changed woman, a mom, a momma, a big, bad mamma jamma.
Am I a green momma? That depends on your definition of green. But we’ll get to that later.
Check out the photo!
His name is Sam and he is amazingly cute, sweet – just like his incredibly awesome dad. Seriously.
But that’s enough about the new love of my life, at least for now.
Let’s get down to some less-personal, greener business.
Today we must sing the praises of Eco Geek caretaker, Krista Kapralos, the star Herald reporter who filled in for me while I was on leave. She did a wonderful job on top of her many other duties at The Herald, including this post on no-shank toothbrushes, a great one to check out if you missed it.
Thank you, Krista!
And, thank you, Eco Geek readers for taking me back.
Tell me now: What’s up out there in green land? Anyone have any items they’d like to share from the eco-front?
Write me here.
