Things you shouldn't drink

Turns out there was a good reason cold medicine made us gag when we were tots. The government now says cold remedies shouldn't be given to kids under 4.

That includes the cherry-tasting stuff. Especially the cherry-tasting stuff.

Speaking of stuff that tastes like cold medicine: In a ruling sure to have an earthshaking impact on fraternity row, officials announced that Jagermeister should not be administered to people between the ages of 18 and 25.

The walking dead are everywhere on TV these days -- and they look and act just like the living.

You could conjure up psychological reasons for this: Entertainment's fixated on the dead because we live in an age of terrorism and two simultaneous wars, Americans want to "relate" to personalities who think and act just like us, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Or you could simply observe that Hollywood never balks at a chance to put more pretty people in prime time.
