Q-Tip returns!
The former Tribe Called Quest rapper who had a hit with “Breathe and Stop” has been a solo artist for more than a decade, but has only released one official LP, 1999’s “Amplified.” (His 2002 album, “Kamaal the Abstract,” was shelved by his label, which deemed it commercially inviable. Naturally, it leaked and was a success with critics.)
Anyway, he’s putting out "The Renaissance" on Nov. 8, and will also be hitting the road with Chicago hip-hop darlings the Cool Kids. There isn’t a presale for that show, which goes on sale Saturday.
There are presales for a handful of other shows. For those, read on. (As always, ticket prices don’t include service fees, etc.)
John Hiatt, at the Moore Theatre, presale from 10 a.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday, $35. Presale passwords are "stg" or “KMTT.” Tickets for the Nov. 16 show on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Blues Traveler, at Showbox at the Market, presale from 10 a.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday, $25. Presale passwords are "stg" or “KMTT.” Tickets for the Nov. 24 show on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Buckethead, at the Moore Theatre, presale from 10 a.m. today to 10 p.m. Thursday, $25. Presale password is "stg." Tickets for the Dec. 31 show on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.
Also going on sale:
Q-Tip with the Cool Kids, at the Showbox SoDo, $25. Tickets for the Nov. 11 show on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.
