The event includes free oil and filter changes, fluid fills, tire checks and car washing and vacuuming. An expert mechanic is scheduled to be on site to inspect for urgent service needs. Children can enjoy the kids-only fun zone with balloon animals, a story time and an outdoor play area. A breakfast and lunch buffet also is planned. Moms can also receive spa treatments such as manicures and paraffin waxing for the hands. Organizers plan to give each mom a special gift. Spanish-speaking volunteers will be available. Daily prayer vigils are taking place in 177 cities and 47 states through Nov. 2. Crop Walks are an event of Church World Service and are held annually to take a stand against hunger.
