Dispatches from 'Paris': Vanessa Fontana on "BFF"

Too cool: Vanessa Fontana used a muscle man as a horse -- a stud, if you will -- for a game of Man Polo on the second episode of "Paris Hilton's My New BFF."

The MTV reality show, which has already finished filming its search for Hilton's new best friend, airs its third episode at 10 p.m. tonight.

Fontana, a 22-year-old Mount Vernon resident, took a break from her shift at Tropical Tanning in Burlington to talk about the last episode and give us a peek at tonight's show.

You toasted Hilton in episode two, calling her "an inspiration," saying you love her confidence, free spirit and sense of humor. So my question is, really?

Yes. It is all true. She's a very funny person. I think she's very inspiring. She has a billion different businesses under her belt. … She has so much going on right now that how can it not inspire you to go after your dreams?

You also got a bit teary-eyed during the toast. Why?

I couldn't believe that I was actually sitting there with Paris Hilton, her mom and this great group of people. I just felt like, what a cool experience. … Talking about it got me a little emotional.

Your team lost at Man Polo. What the hell happened?

I think it's because it was on a hill, and we were on the bottom part of the hill, and it's hard to whack your ball up the hill. That's my excuse.

Was it fun riding the guys?

It was a blast. They were definitely team players.

What can we expect tonight?

There is an argument that's going to happen between a lot of us in the house. And it's going to get a little vicious.

Were you involved?

I was mostly trying to keep everybody from getting physical.
