Police suspect his wife. The man, 50, on Monday was in serious condition at the Seattle hospital, Island County sheriff's Sgt. Mike Beech said. Police were called about 7:30 p.m. to Whitney Drive to investigate a man with a bleeding leg, Beech said. The man at first told deputies the wound was self-inflicted, the sergeant said. Police later learned the life-threatening stab wound was a result of a domestic dispute with the man's wife. The wife, 46, was booked into the Island County Jail for investigation of domestic violence, first-degree assault. READER COMMENTS Be the first to comment.
