Dispatches from 'Paris'
Hanging tough: Last week, Vanessa Fontana made it through a risque episode of the MTV reality show "Paris Hilton's My New BFF."
Fontana, who moved from Mount Vernon to Los Angeles in October, is now among the final seven contestants on the show. The series began with 18 people competing to become pals with the famed heiress.
Fontana, 22, checked in to talk about that fairly racy episode and set up the next show, scheduled to air tonight at 10 p.m. on MTV.
Q: After your time with rapper Dirt Nasty in a "seven-minutes-in-heaven" challenge, you said he bit your leg. They didn't air that. What happened?
A: This is months ago now, so I don't completely remember what happened in there. I had a lot fun. I ended up rapping. He had me bite his chain.
Q: In the last two episodes, you cried during elimination rounds. What's up?
A: Yeah, a lot of waterworks these last episodes for sure. When you're afraid you're going to have a wonderful experience end, it is emotional.
Q: Was it getting more trying as the show went on?
A: Definitely. The longer you're there, the more you want it. You feel like you've gone so far, you feel like you need to go to the end. And you really are getting to know your cast mates. It really is hard to see people go.
Q: In the upcoming episode, Paris takes you all to Las Vegas. What should we expect?
A: The elimination is sad. I can't really give too much away. Flying on a private jet was a blast.
