Fon-tastic contestant: Vanessa Fontana brought two guys to a pool party, thereby winning a challenge on last week's episode of "Paris Hilton's My New BFF," the MTV reality show.

As a result, Fontana was safe from elimination on the show, which finds young women trying to be pals with the heiress. The former Mount Vernon resident -- Fontana lived there for four years, before moving to Los Angeles in October -- is now among the show's final five contestants.

Fontana, 22, fielded questions on the last episode before tonight's new show, airing at 10 on MTV.

Q: Since you won the challenge, you got to swear others into a mock court with the oath "So help me Paris."

A: Obviously that wasn't my wording.

Q: Then you got to pick one of the two women up for possible elimination. You went with Shelley, one of the more moral contestants. Was that to stack the odds against Corrie, also up for elimination and considerably more detestable?

A: Honestly, I wanted everybody to go home. I wanted to win this. But Shelley -- she's really sweet and nice and I love Shelley, I love her, I can't stress that enough, but I thought she should leave because I didn't think she would make it. Hollywood kind of eats people alive.

Q: Paris overruled your choice, instead putting Clark Gable's granddaughter Kayley up for elimination. Thoughts?

A: I was really sad because Kayley was such a free spirit. She was really fun.

Q: The end of the episode found you and the remaining contestants curled up in a gigantic bed, wishing each other good night, like on "The Waltons." Was that just for the cameras, or did you actually sleep together?

A: Um, I'd probably say a little bit of both. We all did end up sleeping together that night. It's a huge mansion, and it's kind of scary being on the bottom floor all by yourself.
