Marysville bank robber sought

MARYSVILLE – Police are looking for information to help identify a man who robbed a Marysville bank earlier today.

The man walked into a U.S. Bank located inside the Albertsons store in the 11400 block of State Avenue around noon today and demanded money from the teller, Marysville Police Cmdr. Ralph Krusey said. The man indicated that he had a weapon.

He left the supermarket through the north main doors with an undisclosed sum, Krusey said.

The suspect is described as a white, in his late 20s, 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 220 pounds.

He was wearing a purple Huskies wool cap, large black sunglasses, black pants and black shoes, and a white long-sleeved shirt or pullover with graphics on the sleeves.

Police detectives are asking anyone who may have information about the suspect to call 360-383-8326.
